On February 1, 2016, Carbylan announced its top-line results from its first Phase 3 trial of Hydros-TA for the treatment of knee pain connected with osteoarthritis. The Company announced that only one of two primary endpoints had been achieved in the Phase 3 trial.
On this news, Carbylan shares fell $1.81 per share, or over 73%, to close on February 2, 2016 at $0.66 per share.
