The Firm announces the filing of a class action lawsuit on behalf of investors who purchased Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. On this news, Roadrunner shares plummeted by as much as $8.07, or more than 45%, to $9.60 per share during intra-day trading on October 27, 2015, thereby injuring investors.
The complaint alleges that Roadrunner made materially false and misleading statements and/or failed to announce that: (1) the avian flu epidemic would have a negative impact on Roadrunner’s financial condition; and (2) as a result the Company’s statements about its business, operations, and prospects were substantially false and misleading.
