MICHAELA LIGMAN is a Research Analyst based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Ligman applies her background in Mathematics and Economics to factual research and numerical analysis, including damages calculations and loss causation analysis. Her research focuses on securities class action litigation, tracking the developments of new investigations and cases for attorney teams. Ms. Ligman also monitors investment portfolios for individual and institutional investors, utilizing the firm’s advanced securities class action monitoring system to protect the interests of our clients.
Prior to joining Glancy Prongay & Murray, Ms. Ligman worked at a mortgage banking firm where she worked directly with executive management to develop new quality assurance and record management systems. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA, majoring in Mathematics/Economics with an elective emphasis in Statistics.
