On March 16, 2026, Washington State Attorney General Nick Brown and 12 other attorneys general announced a lawsuit against OneMain and its related entities, alleging that the Company charged consumers nationwide hundreds of millions of dollars in hidden fees and interest as part of a “bait and switch scheme.”

On this news. OneMain’s stock price fell $2.80, or 5.4%, to close at $49.26 per share on March 16, 2026, thereby injuring investors.
