Background

On October 3, 2025, Reuters published a report stating that an Army memo from early September had expressed concerns about the battlefield communications platform NGC2, developed by Palantir and Anduril Industries Inc., claiming that the system was flawed and that the communications networks for the companies had been vulnerable to “insider threats, external attacks, and data spillage,” with “critical deficiencies in fundamental security controls, processes, and governance.”

On this news, Palantir’s stock price fell $13.98, or 7.5%, to close at $173.07 per share on October 3, 2025, thereby injuring investors.
